Isabelle Masozera is a journalist, PR and communications expert, events planner and an entrepreneur. She is the founder of MYL Holdings (Rwanda), Easy Creations (Uganda) and former Managing Director at Legacy Brands (Rwanda). She was born and raised in Uganda by Rwandan parents.
She has had a career in journalism that began in City Radio Kigali (Rwanda). In late 2007 she started hosting a show on Bob FM, an American-owned country music station in Uganda. In 2009 she was called by Uganda Broadcasting Corportation (UBC) to join a sports radio station Magic100 as a producer and a host.
After almost eight years in radio and presenting the Afrigadgets TV show, Isabelle decided to pursue her passion in public relations. She became the public relations officer for Olive Gospel Music Awards and held the job for two years.
In addition to her PR and massmedia role, Isabelle has also worked on a number of celebrated events in Uganda including managing and producing Crest National Awards, production of Don Moen Live in Uganda concerts in 2014, organisation and production of the Country Festival in 2015 featuring Holly Tucker from a US TV show The Voice, and coordination of the KCCA festival Christian Stage 2014.
Her current position as Director of MYL, host of Prime Time Live on RTV and presenter on Kiss FM Business Today has exposed her to the art of communication, social media marketing, print and advertising. Overtime, she has mastered the integration of all these avenues that ensures that the message is consistent. Isabelle‘s passion for simple, clear, concise and accurate communication has driven her to try and help businesses and organizations deliver their message with maximum impact.
Miha Logar, Founder & Director
A citizen of both Uganda and Slovenia, Miha Logar has chosen Rwanda for the next stage of his entrepreneurship. He believes the country is on the right track and wants to take part in its success.
He has a BA in Journalism (University of Ljubljana), an MA in Development Studies (Uganda Martyrs University) and an extensive background in cultural tourism. His biggest project so far, Gorilla Highlands, connects these three fields in numerous creative ways. In 2013 Miha and his team won a World Summit Award for the Gorilla Highlands Interactive eBook.
Logar is a powerful public speaker, a natural-born editor and an exprienced event organiser. His favourite medium of expression is video.
Damaris Too-Kimondo, CEO MYL Events
Damaris Too-Kimondo is a certified events planner, etiquette and protocol consultant. She has organised President Uhuru Kenyatta's inauguration ceremony, the one-month East Africa Military Games, a memorial service for fallen soldiers and many high profile weddings. To add to her many professional achievements, she has recently won the 2016 Golden European Award For Quality and Business Prestige.
Sharpe Ssewali, CEO MYL Media
Sharpe Ssewali is an award-winning director and graduate of Raindance's Independent Film Making & Film Director's program in London.
His journey began in 2010 in Kampala directing a television commercial for a Western Union-esque money transfer company. His body of work then rapidly expanded to include more television commercials, infomercials, documentaries, TV shows and short films, in both Uganda and Kenya. These include Coca-Cola’s flagship singing talent show called Coca-Cola Rated Next.
Sharpe is best known for his work on Guno Mukwano? (Is This Love?) – a short film on Gender Based Violence, which won several international awards.
Justine Natukunda, Public Relations Manager
Justine Natukunda is a marketer, administrator, finance officer, and PR specialist who has worked with a number of companies in Uganda and Rwanda. She has been a social media influencer on the BeYourOwnUg ledership project and helped organise the Young Entrepreneurs’ Convention under the Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs of Rwanda.
Enock Luyonza, Creative Direcor
Enock Luyonza is an avid reader, blogger, photographer and a social media enthusiast. He previously worked as a creative director at Legacy Brands, a media coordinator at Cornerstone Development Africa and field and media officer at Friends of the Elderly.
Enock was recently selected to be Rwanda's Country Director for International Youth Action for Development because of his passion for adding value to the lives of men and especially fathers.
